Admission to the graduate program is open to qualified registered nurses.
Admission is competitive and an individualized approach is used to identify applicants with demonstrated academic achievement and potential, who have a strong motivation to succeed in academic study and professional practice, and the potential to function as a leader in advanced practice and healthcare delivery or nursing education. The applicant’s GPA, performance on the GRE, writing and speaking skills, and prior professional experience are used to assess applicants for admission. If accepted, you are required to enroll in an online writing course offered by the TCU graduate nursing program. You must successfully complete this online writing course in order to progress to coursework. There is a $350 charge for the course which is due at time of acceptance.
