Abell-Hanger Professor of Gerontological Nursing
Areas of Interest in Research or Professional Practice
My program of research is women and heart disease, specifically looking at the endothelial cell changes pre and post-menopausal and subsequent symptom presentation. Included in the program of research is identification of a biomarker for the at risk women for developing acute coronary syndrome.
